“Our host was so helpful when we found out our ferry had been cancelled. He gave us numbers to call and updates on weather and situation in general. The ferry booking lady was also very helpful and allowed us to make a booking by phone as soon as the ferries were running on the day itself! A lot of online info isn't accurate. We could have flown in and hired a car on the island as an alternative. We learnt that from our host. Contact the host before your trip. They can give you all the details....
