“Great place to have a night before Hobbiton. Everything perfect.The owner was very nice and she explained how to get there. She put the heater on before arrival to be warm at our arrival. Matamata is a quiet town, but surorisinglu, there are many places to have dinner.”

“It’s a small, cozy, beautiful place. Very quiet and clean. With an amazing breakfast. The owners-Mary and Tim are like parents. Very caring, super kind, always ready to help. One day i didn’t have a time to eat breakfast, so they gave me a breakfast and a lunch with me to go. Amazing place and a wonderful people. Truly recommend to everyone. ”
