“Rosevears was a beautiful setting a top the River. The accommodations were satisfactory where the view is the highlight. The reception and dining room is detached from the individual cabins which is a bit of an inconvenience to walk to especially if it's raining, but when the sun is shining the outdoor terrace makes for a most spectacular experience. The staff is so kind and helpful and it is the best place to stay on the river.”

“I booked for three nights but left after two. It was very basic budget accommodation and that was fine - financially it was a good deal. However, the hotel is situated on Bathurst Street, which is one of the city's traffic sewers. The windows are originals and provide no protection from noise. Hence I was awoken by very loud trucks both mornings at 4 am and could not go back to sleep. There should be a curfew on the wretched things but that's another story. The hotel should, however, provide ear...

“The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. But the unit itself needed a bit of work. The shower had a leak in the bottom and wasn't sealed properly, and there was a family of possums or rats living in the roof that were quite loud. Everything else was in good working condition, but overall could use with a good deep clean.”
