“Sitio idílico para estancia de 1 noche. Son cabañas en plena selva. El servicio en recepción y en el restaurante es excelente. La playa es muy bonita, aunque el baño no está permitido por peligro de cocodrilos. Nosotros hemos estado en una habitación para 4 (capacidad 5). Para una noche es correcta, aunque la limpieza es terrible: mucho polvo y debajo de las camas no han limpiado desde hace meses: hemos encontrado papeles, tickets de compra, papel higiénico…muy asqueroso, la verdad. “Location was so beautiful so close to nature gorgeous beach. Due to rural area only a few options for food but still good one walkable couple very short drive. We did one night cooking on the campsite bbqs which was lovely. Lots of options for tours too.”

“This was quite the lovely stay—easy in and out, powered with electricity to recharge my devices. Would definitely stay again. The food on site is also really tasty and reasonably priced. The biggest perk is that it’s open past 5pm unlike most other places in the area. ”

“We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....

“We loved our stay at this little corner of paradise. We stayed at the cottage and were positively surprised about the (covered) outdoor bathroom. Our son loved the hammock and the swings. The location of the cottage nestled in the pure rainforest combined with the lovely hospitality of Matt were just a perfect match. Definite recommendation! ”
