“Great little studio flat. Perfect for 2 people. Kitchen well equipped, great hair dryer, lovely towels, comfy bed, great all round apartment. Didn’t bother me but 2 flights of stairs into the rafters of the house for anyone with mobility issues. Very comfortable, wound stay again. ”

“Newly refurbished rooms were really nice, comfortable and well equipped. The hotel is also a bar/pub/restaurant. We ate at the restaurant and the food was decent. There was entertainment in the evening which was loud and we were concerned that it might disturb our sleep, but once back in the room, we couldn’t hear it. There is unrestricted public parking opposite the hotel.”

“Guest house manager very thoughtful and helpful arrived in 28 degrees heat gave us ice cold water and fresh lemon while we waited to check in would recommend this guest house and situated in a excellent spot for attractions and food.”

“I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). ”

“Lovely studio, but 2 things to address: 1 - the shower is not powerful when the heat is turned up. 2- The bed is 2 singles joined together, it's on wheels, any movement and the bed just slides across the floor, maybe change the wheels to locking wheels, simple fix But I'd definitely stay again, lovely little studio.”

“We had a delightful stay with our dog at The Tiger. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the hotel- we thoroughly recommend Chicken& Leek Pie. Lovely beer/lager.Our only niggle would be the rooms are all on the top floor- a few stairs to negotiate. We would stay again.”

“Stayed here during a busy concert weekend. The owner and staff working were welcoming and friendly. There is a bar on site, which is handy as there is not really much else in the immediate area except a small convenience store. Room was clean and comfortable. It's a bit of a distance from the city center but the train station is a 5 minute walk. Given it's further away I feel it provides a more inviting and local experience.”
