“A hidden gem! I was very satisfied with this property! The king room that I purchased was huge and very nicely decorated with modern decor. Everything was extremely clean. The only complaint I have is that the attendant at the front desk kept telling me the deposit did not go through but when I checked later, the payment had been processed three times!! Not a huge concern because it will be credited back, however, the issue caused a huge delay with checking in. Keep in mind the price you pay...

“I cannot see why anyone would choose a chain hotel if a room at the Grande Magnolia is available. Our weekend in Benson, NC was exceptional due in large part to staying at the Grande Magnolia. When we arrived we were greeted at the door by a man who knew us by name. We were shown to our room and given a one on one explanation of some of the features and history of the hotel. “The kitchen was fine and yes there are plenty of stores in the area. The big problem with the stay is that the listing shows another room with a couch in it that did not exist therefore we needed to go buy an air bed for one person to sleep on.”
