“A comfy and spacious room. Easy check in and good communications from reception to let me know check in was available earlier too. The room had a few maintenance issues which I reported when leaving. The hot water was good but kept needing adjustments to keep the pressure up. There were some Ice-creams left in the freezer from a previous guest which showed to me the cleaning wasn’t thorough. And the freezer wasn’t cold enough to maintain the frozen treats in any case. The purpose of staying at a hotel or motel is not only having a place to sleep, but also receiving services such as making the bed, emptying the rubbish bins, changing towels, and keeping everything in order. Unfortunately, more and more hotels are no longer providing these services.”
