However, the listing on hotels.com says it is an entire home and despite clarifying with their agents they said this is an independent cottage. This is not the first time they mislead us. The accommodation was good and the hosts were great but the details on hotels.com is not accurate. If you are expecting a while cottage you’ll be disappointed. ”

“Arrived 20 to 30 minutes before check in time due to the bad weather only to be told there was a fee for early arrival which didn’t make for a great start when everywhere else that we had stayed was fine with it as it wasn’t far off the stated time of arrival. The rooms are basic. For the price they should include breakfast. Rooms are not serviced during your stay. We were there 3 nights. We were in a downstairs room and could hear every footstep made from the room above. It’s a means to an end...
