“Friendly staff, clean cabins, dog friendly. The closeness to the hwy was noisy. The lake, complimentary use of kayaks, in cabin a/c unit, all helped make up for that.”

“We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, Kim and Doug weren’t expecting us so we had to wander around to find them. They were quite apologetic and accommodating after. We were able to use the dock across from the property as well as the standup paddle boards. The place is a quick walk to The Kee to Bala. The place is currently under renovation but the room and bathroom was new and beautiful.”

“Hosts were polite and kind. Breakfast was very good! Great location! Short walk to town and to the water was very nice. The room wasn't as clean as we would like. The one chair (antique) although period to the house, was not sturdy and therefore not usable. Did not like the shared bathroom. Also, bathtub could have been cleaner and better appointed.”

“I get to the property and some kids with the new owernership said the place was closed. Place was recently sold and new ownership is cleaning up the place. The new owners seem good, but the fact this place is listed but not in business is unacceptable. This property should be removed until new owners are back in business. Check with property before booking. I'm sure place will be fine when new owners open up”

“When we were arrived, we were greeted by the owner who was cleaning our parking spot of the snow. Super friendly and wonderful check-in. The room was very quaint and clean (other than a bone under the bed). All was wonderful, other than there were very minimal receptacles, but we travel with enough cords to deal with our CPAP and Laptop. The Wi-Fi for the laptop kept dropping out, but other than that, we will most certainly stay again. ”
