“TV remote was generic so it did work properly, I was told it was due to customers sealing the original ones, not very helpful reply though. Soap etc hard to dispense, if at all. Poor quality bathroom, with parts missing from the shower and tap and broken tiles.”

“Good location, quiet and ideal for a base for Birmingham. Good restaurant and bar, with a nice room. Our stay coincided with a heatwave and unfortunately a lack of aircon in the room but would only be a downside because of extreme heat that week.”

“Lots of parking. Staff friendly and helpful. Cheep and cheerful if all you need is somewhere to lay your head. The only criticism is no sink plugs. So best to take one yourself. Ive stayed a few times and always made welcome. ”

“I was a single traveller, made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent. Room was small but adequate for a single person. En-suite was spacious. Mattress was a little firm for my liking. Fantastic location. All in all an excellent stay.”

“Room not properly stocked with tea bags etc Dust on stand and skirting boards. Door would not open fully as got stuck on the floor. Two single beds but not a lot of room to manoeuvre around banged legs on it. kitchen at breakfast - there was no butter 2nd morning and lack of mugs. There were coffee perculators but no coffee to brew only small instant for cups. Food in restaurant- ceasar salad was a big disappointment, chicken overcooked and salad not right leaves for ceasar salad. However staff...
