“A wonderful place for travelers looking for affordable accommodation without compromising on comfort and hospitality. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and the hot showers are a great bonus after a long day of exploring. They are also very helpful in arranging tours, trekking, and other travel services. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and budget-friendly stay with...

“Excelente ubicación, comida y atenciones!!! ”

“As an infrequent traveller and senior citizen, I appreciated the very pleasant and generous assistance with phone, navigation and general issues. I enjoyed being in the older traditional artistic area. Shakya House was beautiful, comfortable and secure. I would love to stay again.”

“Hello, I spent like six days in this hotel and the experience was excellent. The treatmant was great and the food too. I would like to thank Mani Shrestha for his help and concern about me. He showed me and took me to places of great interest to me. I will always be grateful to you Mani. Also thank Raman for his concern to make my stay more comfortable. And to all the staff in general. Really appreciated. Kind regards, Joxe Inazio Kuesta”

“Poca ventilación, abanico en pésimas condiciones, no proveen de servicio de resguardo de cosas de valor o caja de seguridad. El personal muy amable. El lugar es incómodo en general. Buena ubicación.”

“I thought the staff was great, but this area and location is a bit rough, so you may face some cold nights and lack some creature comforts. I stayed 4 nights, which may have been two too many as there really wasn’t a whole lot to do at night. Still the day hiking was nice and the hotel restaurant was nice. ”

“Great place to stay! Hot water and nice room. Helpful staff, just stayed for one night but would recommend!”

“屋上にフリースペースが有るという理由でこちらの宿を選択。 　場所はタメルの中心の端に位置していますが、ダルバール広場やバス乗り場に行くには便利でした。 　部屋も比較的清潔で、ホットシャワーが24時間出るのがとてもありがたかったです。 　スタッフの方もフレンドリーかつ親切で、チェックアウト後も荷物を預かってくれたのはありがたかったです。”

“Me gustó muchísimo este hostal. Súper cómoda la habitación y el personal súper amable. Recomiendo bastante!!!”

“When I arrived I was told the hotel was full, despite having a reservation for a single room. I wasn't offered any equivalent alternative, even though there were other similar hotels in the area. ”

“It was a pleasant and comfortable stay. The owner Shalik and his staff are very professional and responsible to all their guest. They will do all possible things to make ur stay memorable. I stayed at the Mt. Everest room which is located at the 5th floor, very quiet and peaceful room. Despite Shalik busy schedule, he will always give u a time if u need something with regards to any advice, planning and budgeting there in kathmandu. Very accessible from the airport and what i really like is, the...
