“The hotel location is fine, but anywhere in Christchurch city will be close to everything there. I stayed in a 'club room' which was very ordinary and in need of some improvement. Worst of all was the club lounge - terrible location and atmosphere, and a complete waste of money unless you're there only for the free evening drinks.
