“We only found Cavanans by accident, but we’re so glad we did. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We particularly liked that they could be accessed from both the internal corridor and the courtyard, making it incredibly easy to pull the car right up outside the room to unload and load luggage. The hotel has its own bar and restaurant, and both were excellent. The food was delicious, and the breakfast was amazing and very reasonably priced. What really made our stay stand out...

“The stay we had at The Wylies was wonderful. Neil and Rush were great hosts. The room was beautiful and we could walk right out onto the patio. The views were magnificent! We opted to have their hot breakfast option (10 pounds extra per person) which was perfect for us since we don’t usually eat a full breakfast. “The whole 3 nights were so easy and chilled. Then a fantastic breakfast every morning cooked and served by Larry. Larry is such a welcoming host .nothing too much for him and a weakth of local knowledge. Cant wait to rerurn in the summer. We had a family room and was very spacious and clean all in pine to keep the charm of this rustic farm manor house . Definitely return !”
