“What a lovely hotel with such good energy. There’s a serenity to this place. I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities from a swim in the pool, hot sauna, hanging out in the terrace and dinner at The Living Space. The property itself is beautifully designed. A place to stroll and soak in the peacefulness. After dinner I took such a stroll and while everyone else was dining I was able to spend some time on the tree swings by myself. “Friendly very clean and had good selection of towels and good range of tea and coffee with buscuits much better than some chains which are mean, the car park was off site but took my car reg details and so that i was not charge at the car park beind other building accross the road. see if this is the case”

“Adele was friendly on arrival and sorted check in and parking permit promptly.
Room itself was large and clean, reasonably quiet (room 3) in spite of having window open and being near moderately busy road. Bed fairly comfortable. In a good state of repair though decorated and furnished in a very dated style.
Bathroom was very small. Shower needs a new hose, spraying most of the water at the wall. The sealant was black, unsightly and needing replaced. The toilet roll holder is not attached to...

“Staff were lovely unfortunately everything else wasn’t. Very noisy with the aircon or whatever it was outside the window. The shower door was hard to open and close. Needed a good clean in the room. Was very expensive for what it was. Pillows were awful. Won’t be going back.”

“Lovely hotel in the heart of Kirkby Stephen. No breakfast, but could be arranged albeit for an extra fee, and a bit too late for walkers. Comfortable bed and bedding. TV and wifi worked well.”
