“This is an "ok" place to stay. The rooms are clean but there are absolutely no amenities. There were electrical problems in our room and they did not turn on the AC prior to our arrival. With temps in the 90s it took quite a while for our room to cool.down. The view was the best part of our stay.”

“We had a great stay! The room was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The lake view was beautiful and made for a relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, which made our stay even more comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.”

“Good location, great views. House is comfortable and nice layout for large group. Expect to leave the place cleaner than how you found it; to the exact spot you found the furniture. Bring your own trash bags too.”

“They were not joking when they said 4wheel drive is recommended LOL just be prepared for a steep gravel driveway....other than a slight issue with evolve (the ones who worked on the reservation) it was an absolutely perfect trip for my pups, my son and myself. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice getaway place to relax. ”

“I love this place, it was so nice, quiet and peaceful. The remodeling of the Inn was spot on it kept the charm of the original Inn and the grounds were beautiful. The innkeeper Tim was an excellent host. We even got to meet the owner. If you are looking for a romantic get away or just simple low key charm this is a gem found in a remote lovely location in North Carolina. We will defiantly be back.”
