“I wish we would have planned more time here vs at the coast. Cohune Palms was the highlight of our Belize trip. This place was paradise!! We were reluctant at first due to no a/c but the weather cooled off at night and was perfect. Fans during the day kept everything enjoyable. The river next to the resort was beautiful and a blast to swim in and enjoy the rope swing. We have 50x the mosquitos here in California…with a little bug spray you barely even notice them there. “Maddy was an amazing host and made us feel very comfortable. The farm is amazing so are the rooms, the surroundings (river, unexplored Maya-Ruins, Djungle), the animals, the food! Thank u so much for a few days really enjoying a home apart from home!”

“Joe & Miriam (sp?) were very friendly and engaging hosts. We went to the Caracol Mayan site and also did a boat/swimming/waterfall tour. Joe is very knowledgeable about Mayan ruins. He is most enthusiastic about showing you his native country. Miriam is a great cook. We thoroughly enjoyed our jungle experience.”

“Beautiful place but very simple with no tv or air conditioner but did come with a ceiling fan and 2 floor fans that we were able to use all 3 in one room. Came with a kitchen and coffee pot, stove & fridge but no microwave ”
