“Hotel Avra is a no-frills, great-value hotel with a very acceptable restaurant right on the shore. It is 50m from a beach, 100m from the ferry dock and 150m from the most interesting part of Aegina town. And yet it is quiet with good insulation and a/c. The view from the balconies is as good as it gets and the location is superb. Elefteria is a friendly and helpful hostess and her staff are quietly efficient. There might be better Rooms on the island - but not for these prices.”

“Estuvimos encantados en el hotel, habitacion con terraza y vistas al mar y la playa. La playa a dos minutos a pie. Y hay innumerables calitas alrededor para bucear o estar flotando en el agua. La situacion inmejorable, pues esta en el pueblo pero no encima de los bares y pufs. Es un hotel familiar, como estar en casa,pero a tu aire. La habitacion es muy basica pero tiene todo lo necesario, y la gente muy muy amable. Si no te entiendes en griego, hablan ingles. Hay ferry directo desde El Pireo....
