“Location and staff great. Pub below venue is closed and for sale but good pub food a 5 minute walk away. Property in need of air conditioning for summer stays though although a fan is provided which is insufficient to cool the room. Location overlooking the lake and bird life is superb and car park fees go to the park upkeep so are justified. Overall good but too hot in the room.”

“It was good value for money, especially for a 1 night stay. The room was fairly small and decor was functional. The bathroom was well equipped. Staying after a hot day we found that the windows did not open far and the small desk fan was inadequate. As rooms do not have a/c they really need a floor standing fan with a fast speed.”
