“La experiencia fué muy buena. Hay un problema que no es del lugar y es una obra que están haciendo que eliminó la posibilidad de acercarse al río cerca y disfrutar. Muchísimo ruido con las máquinas. La atención de Bing es excelente, no podría ser mejor. Algunos detalles podrían corregirse pero son menores. El lugar es como estar en el campo a minutos del centro.”

“Maddy was an amazing host and made us feel very comfortable. The farm is amazing so are the rooms, the surroundings (river, unexplored Maya-Ruins, Djungle), the animals, the food! Thank u so much for a few days really enjoying a home apart from home!”

“I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.”

“Joe & Miriam (sp?) were very friendly and engaging hosts. We went to the Caracol Mayan site and also did a boat/swimming/waterfall tour. Joe is very knowledgeable about Mayan ruins. He is most enthusiastic about showing you his native country. Miriam is a great cook. We thoroughly enjoyed our jungle experience.”

“The cabin was pleasant, had basic necessities. I deducted two stars because there was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION from the host. The site said there would be no one present at check in and directions would be sent prior to arrival. I heard nothing, even after reaching out multiple times. I was concerned about arriving in early evening and not knowing how to get in. Turns out there was a lock with a key in it in the front door. Also, not this host’s fault, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to get through...

“Beautiful place but very simple with no tv or air conditioner but did come with a ceiling fan and 2 floor fans that we were able to use all 3 in one room. Came with a kitchen and coffee pot, stove & fridge but no microwave ”
