"Great location, quiet comfortable room"
We stayed at the Melrose Georgetown for six nights because we were working at a nearby hospital. We needed to be in a quiet room and when we checked in the staff was extra accommodating. We enjoyed room service once and Derek was amazing and delivered excellent customer service. The door man was always professional and kind. My only complaint was eating in the dining room on our last day for breakfast. It was cold because they don't have any walls that block the cold air from the main double doors and our server wasn't friendly or attentive. The pancakes were $14 and dry and mediocre at best. We were glad we only ate there once. We will be back to this hotel but we will eat down the road at Le Perla (awesome Italian food).

The Phoenix Hotel is in a great position just a couple of minutes from Union Station, so all the transport needed to get around the city are on your doorstep. The hotel is clean and the beds very comfortable, the staff are very helpful. A pub is attached to the hotel and has a good menu its also very popular with the locals early in the evening so it gets packed early on. Its a great place to stay and I will stay there again when I return to the city.

We were recommended from a friend to stay at this hotel. It was great!!! First of all the staff was very friendly and helpful. Secondly it's nice to have beverages at your disposal, especially a nice cup of hot coffee! Also, this place is nice and close to the metro, and if needed you can take the shuttle.
