"Safe location close to metro station."
Great place to take family of 4. We didn't need a pool, or other extra frills. We just wanted a safe, clean hotel and a free, warm breakfast. The staff was very helpful. We didn't hear noise between floors or between the walls as we have at other hotels. It was quiet and comfortable.

"Traveling with 3 children! Trip defiantly worth it"
I checked in early on a Saturday. We tried to park and site see before our normal check in at 3. There is absolutely no parking in DC. The hotel was more than accommodating. They allowed me to valet park my car and even gave us a map and directions of where we were going. Helped us locate the metro rail and bus system. Also gave us the number of a taxi service incase we could not find the correct bus or stop for the rail. We found our way very easily to the Smithsonian museums and the white house as well as a few other sites along the way. We made our way back to the hotel in the evening and was directed to a basement in which they had parked my car. For $40 a day it was a bit rough. My car was parked in a small area full of water and whom ever parked it left my windows down with complete knowledge that all our luggage was still in the car. Luckily nothing was missing although it was hard to access. This was the only issue I had with our hotel. Front desk was very helpful. Our room was small but very clean and updated. Nice beds and bathroom had a large very clean shower and vanity area. Their is a small refrigerator in the room. No coffee maker but a nice espresso machine. Ice machine was on the same floor as our room. We decided against the "continental breakfast" because we had four people and it was $12 a person. The National zoo was only 1 mile walking distance and there is a McDonald within 1/2 a mile walking distances. What an amazing town to take a run in. Worth it!!!

"Location, Location, Location"
Great place to stay while in DC. Only 1 block from Capital South metro stop, and only 2 blocks from Good Stuff Eatery and We the Pizza. Makes getting around so easy, and eating on a budget is possible. Hotel itself is nice. Nice neighborhood. Area is quiet, seems safe. Our room was huge, kitchenette was very nice, with full size fridge. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Water quality was excellent. Very nice TV with excellent channel choices. The beds were very comfortable. Only drawback was the hotel itself needs a good vacuuming, but really, not imprtant. Will be staying here again.

"This place was nice!"
Great value, large rooms, nice and very accommodating staff, convenient metro access, and close to the DC action (literally a 2 mile walk to the Lincoln Memorial if so inclined). Fruits and cookies in the nicely appointed lobby were a nice extra! I highly recommend this hotel.
