"One of the best hotels near airport"
We had to book a hotel for overnight stay at the last minute and this was the best available option as it was least priced and provided airport shuttle as well. Personal at service desk was really helpful.

"Internship visit"
We stayed about 2 blocks from the Capitol at this hotel in January, 2015. This was a trip to take my son to his internship and we had time to walk around and acclimate to an area we moved from over a decade ago. The hotel staff was ready as we pulled up in front of the hotel and very helpful with luggage and parking our car of belongings in their private parking garage. Whenever I needed a question answered or help, the staff was ready and willing to help. The staff was very polite. The hotel lobby was under construction on our visit which is the reason for only 4 stars. We will have to return to check out the final results. My bed was comfortable the first night, but didn't seem as well for me on the second. The room was very clean. Some new grout work could be upgraded in the bathroom, otherwise it was very clean and a great size with a large tub. I didn't feel squashed in the shower/tub. The bar/restaurant area was nice and so was the staff--very attentive. I would recommend this hotel; it has a great location and comfort for a family trip to D.C.

"Elegant smaller hotel"
Charming, clean rooms. The hotel has a European feel. The room was quite comfortable and the staff remembered us and made us feel welcomed. I would definitely stay here again. If you are are more comfortable in a major US chain, you might not like this experience. I love the character of the place. Great restaurant, too.

"Home away from home"
From staycations to family coming in-town, it's always first recommendation. Rooms cozy and update but the bathroom could use a little sprucing but it's always clean. Plenty of options from hotel bar to local restaurants. Biggest con is hotel parking. I guess they never plan to be fully occupied or even 50%. Remember to put out your do not disturb sign bc staff are eager to get in there and clean super early. Think I got a knock around 8 on checkout day. Overall always pleased. Staff really just focus on their job so don't expect backflips when you encounter them. They will assist if needed so don't be afraid to speak to them!
