"Lots of amenities"
Pros....This hotel had everything, the best snorkeling on property, sea turtles, tons of fish and food a plenty.Walking distance to The Whalers Village for food and shopping. Just a short drive to Lahaina and a short drive up the coast to the best snorkeling on the island. Cons.... Very expensive! Starbucks doesnt open until 6:30 am, should be open earlier since almost everyone visting is on an earlier time difference. Tips.... Rent your snorkel gear by the day or week from Maui Dive, much cheaper. Ask the locals for affordable places to eat that taste great. No need to go to Molikini for snorkeling, Black Rock and Honolua Bay are amazing, local tip. The hotel is huge, walk around to see everything.

"Outstanding first vacation"
My family and I had never taken a vacation of this caliber before. From upon arrival, we were treated with a staff that was very friendly and knowledgeable. The on site restaurants and bars were fantastic. The free shuttle service with the resort, was driven by informative staff taking us to most of where we needed to go. We are already thinking of our return trip!!

"days at mauii"
the location was just great as we could stay around the area or explore both sides of the island in a timely fashion. Also our room faced the garden and we enjoyed the birds and flowers every morning before heading out. The room was quiet so we could rest and the staff were so cheerful and nice. I would recommend this hotel

"Relaxing family vacation"
3 nights in early April 2014. Great place to unwind. We didn't leave the property during our stay. Everything we needed was right there. Great snorkeling right out front. We also took a trip in the outrigger canoe and did some stand-up paddle boarding. There wasn't really a break so we didn't boogie board. They will take you off site if you want to surf or boogie board though. Food was amazing!! Pricey but worth it. We are a family of 4 and were able to store all of our stuff in the two queen garden view room without difficulty. Took off one for cleanliness as sandy floors were an ongoing issue. Not sure if that is just because the entire resort has either tile or wood flooring. We also stayed in a condo/hotel resort in Ka'anapali. The Andaz was by far our favorite.

"Lovely gem in Kihei"
When we pulled onto the property we were immediately pleased with the grounds and knew we had made the right decision to enjoy our Maui vacation at Kamaole Sands. The condo was better than the web site advertised. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely be returning and recommend to our friends and family for future visits.

"Loved being up on the hill - wonderful view!"
We really enjoyed this quiet, beautiful condo complex - the view from the lanai in our unit was wonderful, and having the ability to get a good cross breeze let us enjoy it a/c free. Well appointed unit - kitchen had everything we needed. Only suggestion: get new fitted sheets where the elastic isn't shot - kept slipping off the mattress every time you move. Thanks for a lovely home away from home, especially one away from the white stuff!
