“Viva Vdara!”
From the soothing fragrance to the well appointed rooms, the Vdara was an excellent escape. The hotel is beautiful and the outstanding original modern art (a Robert Rauschenberg painting the lobby) make the Vdara outstanding. We also enjoyed an excellent breakfast in the Silk Road with a beautiful presentation and excellent service. My one small (very small) criticism is that the coffee condiments were not restocked each day. I especially liked that the Vdara did not have a casino. It made the whole experience restful.

The hotel was quiet, clean, and really upscale and the entire staff was really helpful and friendly.
“Elegant and a great value”
The Vdara rooms are set up to also be sold as condo efficiencies. This means each has a kitchen, but no kitchen equipment, plates or silverware beyond the usual coffee pot, mugs and glasses. The rooms are done up beautifully with new, contemporary coordinated decor. We had a room on the 51st floor and the elevators were the fastest I've ever been in. The staff is very responsive. The hotel backs onto the Bellagio, so to get to the strip, just walk through the connecting covered walkway and you are right in the Bellagio. It was nice to be in a hotel without a casino as the entire hotel is smoke free. I would definitely go back again - especially if we got the sort of promotional rate we got in May 2010. They only opened in December 2009, so I imagine rates will go up as the word gets out.

“Vdara is *awesome*”
This is a new hotel and everything feels and smells new. The staff for the most part, was awesome from check-in through to check-out. The only glitch was the coffee – those folks were not quite with it – so I ended up going to the Bellagio for meals (prices are excellent and lots of options). The guest room was spectacular; I stayed on the 32nd floor and had a view of the Bellagio fountains from my room. The Vdara is located one tram ride away from the City Center and a skywalk away from the Bellagio. The fact that the entire property was smoke-free is a bonus for me. One can experience Las Vegas without the “stinky parts”. Everywhere looks and smells like a spa – the ground floor, the elevators, and the guest room. I will only stay at the Vdara on future trips to Las Vegas. Here one has all the conveniences and none of the smoke or mess that accompanies the casinos.
“Vdara rocks!”
Upone check-in, the registration clerk offered us a complimentary room upgrade. We were then upgraded 4 levels to the panaromic view (on the corner of the bldg) which had a full view of the Strip, City Center & towards Red Rocks/Mt. Charleston. It was fabulous!
“Excellent Hotel”
This has everything you need if you don't want to stay at a Casino in Las Vegas, it's perfectly located, has a great staff and is very, very clean.
