“Pleasantly surprised and impressed”
We were pleasantly surprised at the large size and modern furnishings in our Queen bedroom suite! The balcony was an extra plus for night-time viewing of LV lights and sky. QUIET is the best description of the hotel and room--a wonderful respite from the din and clang along the Strip. Half price Drinks in the quiet and comfy lounge were nice during happy hour each eve--a great place to visit. We also partook of spa services and once again the "quiet" was appreciated. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to folks that are looking for a little different stay in Vegas.
“Best deal in Las Vegas”
Very large, well appointed suites. With suites over 1000 sq ft, a huge 2-person jacuzzi tub, full-size kitchen, large balcony, 42" plasma TV, and a price tag that is lower than most 3+ stars hotels on or within a block of the Strip, The Platinum is hard to beat. They don't have a casino onsite, but I'd rather stay here and save $100 to $200 per night over a comparably equipped room in Vegas. Only complaint, they should off self parking instead of making valet parking mandatory.
“The Best Stay in Vegas for Us!”
We have family in Vegas and have stayed here many times over the years. We felt that the Platinum Hotel was exceptional in every means. It met all our needs as far as quality, comfort and courteous staff. The hotel is ideally located for those travelers that want to be removed from all of the Strip's noise and traffic, not to mention the smokey atomsphere of the large casino/hotels. We were able to find everything we needed in the immediately vacinity of the hotel. The Valet parking was actually a plus, and never had to wait more than a few minutes to retrieve our car. Nice pool and work out room too! Truly exceeded our expectations!
“A Great Spot to stay”
I was very pleased with the Platinum Hotel. The room service was great and the food excellent. I was grateful for the "no smoking" policy and the lack of a casino. The size was just right, I didn't get lost and enjoyed the pool one day. I recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a quiet place away from the main strip.
“can't wait to go back”
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the platinum, the room had a homie feel to it, the balcony was awesome our son enjoyed being out in the balcony when we were in the room, and the bed was comfortable, i would definetly stay there again.
“Great modern hotel”
Great modern hotel (without a casino) one block (10 minute walk) to the strip. Our Solitaire Suite included a washing machine and dryer, which is fantastic when travelling for longer periods of time.
“Can't wait to go back”
This hotel was a very pleasant surprise to us. We had a large suite. Very clean and perfectly situated, 10 min walk to the strip (bring a good pair of shoes though!). Very polite staff, pool was quiet and clean. We loved our stay.
“Vegas' best kept secret”
A wonderful facility...well trained staff, outstanding day-to-day maintenance. It's off strip, so cabs are sometimes a problem, but it's a short walk to Bally's Monorail station Wireless internet prices are steep...should be free! Overall, excellent...I stay with them again.
“Would highly recommend”
We were totally surprised to find such a beautiful place. It is non smoking, non gaming, which is great after a day of smoke filled noisy casinos. The staff was very accomodating and upgraded us to a king with no extra charge. At first they wanted to charge extra and we said no and then they did it for free. It is a long block from the strip, but within a walking distance. Be sure to check out the "deuce" buses. It costs 5.00 a day and you can get on one and go from each end of the strip. Taxes are horribly expensive, but the bus was great. We found it on the last day after walking lots of miles and taxis. The Platinum is a condo room, more than 900 sq. ft. Beautiful kitchen and a huge jacuzzi tub. You feel more like you are at a resort than a hotel. We would definitely stay there again.
“Non-smoking - really”
We did not have a car so can't comment on the valet service nor did we have the need to get a taxi from the hotel so we don't know how that would be. The fitness room has a good selection of cardio equipment; however, we did not eat in the restaurant or visit the spa.
