“Main Street Station”
I like the location, food, staff, and cleanliness. If there is a downside, the lines are very long to the eateries, in fact I did not eat dinner until just before 10p and I lose money at the slots. I love the place and will always stay there when in Las Vegas. My new home is in Mesquite, but will have any freinds or overflow stay there.
“A good place to stay at a good price.”
We stay in Las Vegas several times a year, and wanted to see the new Fremont Street Experience. Since this was a last minute decision, all of our regular hotels were booked. Since I am a homebrewer, this seemed like a great place to stay and try their beer. Both the room and the beer were very good. The restaurants were also excellent. The only down side was that our room faced the railroad tracks, and was a bit noisy, but not all that bad.
“Main Street Station has been recommended by a friend and my experience lived up to expections.”
Main Street Station is a great place to stay. The buffet is excellent. I will be going back to stay there.
“LOVE IT!”
The Main Street Hotel & Casino is Awesome. The rooms are very clean: Bathroom, Beds, & Floors. I like the fact that Main Street rooms come with a mini refrigerator & iron with an iron board without having to pay extra for these items. The Main Street Hotel & Casino is in a nice location (Downtown Las Vegas). It's close to other Casinos (Connected to the "The Cal"). It's within walking distance of other Casinos (Fremont, Gold Nugget, The Plaza, The Horseshoe, & others). It's also very close to the Downtown Outlets.
“Nice hotel, friendly staff”
A nice hotel. Rooms were very quiet and we didn't hear any noise from our neighbors or from outside. Maid service was good and almost invisible - at some hotels they start banging around and knocking on your door at 7 am - not here! We really appreciated that. Buffet selection of foods was huge and tasty! We would stay there again.
“Really a nice, good value.”
Loved the spacious, clean room. Terrific, white island shutters on windows with lovely green color wall--someone knows how to decorate. Very nice lounge chairs to read morning paper. Cleaning staff observed "do not disturb" and were easy to work with. Buffet quick, clean and nice food. Great place to stay!
“A Pleasuring Experience”
A Truely Great Experience. It Was Hard To Believe That There Was A Building Renovation In Progress.
“Great Atmosphere”
Great buffet at great price. Triple 7 Restaurant & Brewery had good food and atmosphere. Room was fresh and clean. Close to Fremont Street. Could ride shuttle from California Hotel across the street to Sam's Town, the strip, and back again.
“Better than I expected”
The hotel was clean but the smell of smoke ruminated everywhere once outside the hotel room. The restaurant was excellent. We'd come back again.
“Great hotel for the price”
After staying on the "Strip" every time we had been in Las Vegas, my wife and I decided to stay downtown this time. What a wonderful choice. The Main Street Station is located about one block off of the end the Fremont Experience. The hotel reminded me of an old time hotel. We had a large confortable room. The sink is separate from the shower/john. The air conditioning was cold and the room was clean. The casino is an elevator ride and a few steps from the rooms and the restaurant is great. Check-in was fast and friendly. I can't think of any negatives.
