Property Amenities
Located 17 miles from the Las Vegas Strip, MonteLago Village Resort is adjacent to Lake Las Vegas. A lakefront marina provides rentals for boating, fishing, kayaking, and other activities. Guests can benefit from a daily shuttle service to the Las Vegas Strip and a Lake Las Vegas Inter-resort shuttle (included in resort fee).
Each of the resort's 3 buildings houses a 24-hour fitness center with cardio and strength-training machines and free weights. Other recreation facilities include 3 outdoor pools and a 40-foot children's pool.
The lobby provides complimentary wireless Internet access and newspapers. The hotel hosts a business center and it has a patio. Complimentary wired (high-speed) Internet access is also available.
Rooms
MonteLago Village Resort offers 347 individually owned studios and suites in Viera, a 5-story building in the village center, and Luna Di Lusso, 2 5-story buildings across a bridge from the village center. All accommodations include furnished balconies or ground-floor patios with resort or lake views.
Studios have kitchenettes with compact refrigerators, microwaves, and coffeemakers. Suites have kitchens with stovetops, refrigerators, microwaves, coffeemakers, cookware, and dinnerware.
Amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, TVs with DVD players and cable channels, and Judith Jackson Spa toiletries.
Smoking is not permitted inside studios and suites.

Recreation
At the resort's two-building complex across a bridge from the village center, an 80 x 80-foot outdoor pool is paired with an oversized spa tub that flows into a 40-foot children's pool. Two additional pools, a health club and a spa tub are located at the resort's main building in the village center.
Each resort building includes a complimentary 24-hour fitness center with cardio and strength-training machines and free weights.
Rentals for boating, fishing, kayaking, sailing, and windsurfing are available at the MonteLago Village Marina on the lake adjacent to the resort. Fishing excursions are also available (surcharge).
The Lake Las Vegas Resort development includes two 18-hole championship golf courses and a golf school. Reflection Bay Golf Club is a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, and the Falls Golf Club was designed by Tom Weiskopf.
Two miles away, the Lake Mead National Recreational Area offers fishing, boating, swimming, and hiking.
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, 39 miles away, provides rock climbing, biking and hiking trails, and scenic drives. Mount Charleston, 59 miles away, has biking and hiking trails, horseback riding, skiing, and snowboarding.

“Great Get Away Spot”
Everything was excellent -- room, ammenities, entertainment (Friday and Saturday night). Would stay there again for sure. Rooms were amazing with full kitchens. It's a perfect spot if you are wanting to be on Lake Las Vegas. Plus, it's only a short drive to the strip. The Ritz (other property at the resort) had moved out, so the resort was not crowded and was quite at night. The casino was closed.
“A very relaxing time”
We arrived and were givin an upgrade right away. The casino is closed but re-opening soon under new managment. This plase is a hidden tresure. The strip is about 20 mins away and it is great to be able to leave the strip. the are at least 12 casinos with in 5 min fo the resort. If you have been on the strip before you knoe=w how it can be overwelming very quickly. This is the best area I have found. We are planing the trip again next year and are looking to bring friend with us to enjoy the experiance.

I am not good at this, all I can say is it was a wonderful experience, The Aston was wonderful, clean nice view, beautiful surroundings, can't wait to visit over the Christmas Holidays.

The resort is absolutely beautiful! I t was very clean, and staff was very nice. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Our only complaint was that the bridge over the lake was not lit up at night.
“Wished I was staying longer!!”
The hotel and surrounding grounds were beautiful. Our room was so nice and it would have made a perfect place if we'd been on an extended stay. There is a fun shopping village on the grounds and there was live music at night... very cool!! Wished we had been staying longer!!
“Very nice but quiet condo/hotel”
The condo/hotel was very nice. The kitchen in our studio had everything we needed. The ice maker did not work, but there was an ice machine available. The area was quaint but many of the shops in the village area were empty or closed. I would definitely stay there again if I had another meeting in the area. It is a little too far from the strip to stay there if you are really going to Las Vegas for that type of entertainment.
“This was our second visit - will go back again and again.”
The location can't be beat. Quiet, but with lots to do. We watched and listened to a wonderful concert and ate on the patio overlooking the lake. Away from the hustle of Las Vegas, but so close to visit for those fun nights. Shopping was right there as well as great dining.
“Just what I needed”
I was in Henderson for a Seminar. The hotel was within walking distance of my meeting. At the end of the day I walked back to my room sat out on my patio and relaxed while enjoying a view of the lake. You are within walking distance of the village which has a casino, restaurants and some interesting shops.
“Tucked away, quite location, limited services”
As locals of Las Vegas we decided to not drive home after a Wine Tasting tour in the Lake Las Vegas Village. The hotel is located directly in the village with the main tower located next to the casino and directly in the Village and the Luna Tower is across the water looking into the Village. We had studio room 337 East in the Luna Tower which had a nice lake view and overlooking the pool. The studio had many more amenities than we would ever need for our one night stay and we thought this would be ideal for longer stays. The only down fall is that is not much in the area so you will visit the Village every morning for good coffee and try out the restaurants but after a couple of nights you may start to run out of choices or may decide to cook in your unit.
